The 2024 MLB postseason will feature a month of games broadcast across six channels. A new addition to this year’s World Series is that if both the National League Championship Series and American League Championship Series end by October 19, the World Series will begin on Tuesday, October 22. The potential Game 7 would then take place on Wednesday, October 30. The off-days for the World Series would be on Thursday, October 24, and Monday, October 28.
The games of the MLB postseason will be broadcast on various networks. The World Series specifically will be aired on FOX. Subscribers to MLB.TV who are authenticated subscribers to TNT Sports platforms, FOX, and FS1 through a participating pay TV provider will have access to all games on those networks. Additionally, the Wild Card Series can be watched through the ESPN app.
On Wednesday, October 2nd there are several games scheduled including DET @ HOU (Game 2) live on ABC at an unspecified time; KC @ BAL (Game 2) at 4:30 p.m ET on ESPN; NYM @ MIL (Game 2) at 7:30 p.m ET also on ESPN; and ATL @ SD (Game2) at8:30 p.m ET airingon ESPN2.
