Hiroshima Experiences Large Sinkhole, Resulting in Building Tilts and Road Collapse

A sinkhole of significant size appeared in ⁤Hiroshima City on ⁤Thursday. The‍ incident was reported to the ​police at approximately 8:50 a.m., when they received an emergency call‍ regarding a bulge ‍that had formed in ⁤a section⁢ of road located in Nishi ⁢Ward. It is suspected that an underground water pipe burst, causing the road to collapse and resulting in several buildings in the vicinity leaning precariously. Fortunately, despite⁤ some individuals becoming⁣ trapped inside these ‍structures, all were successfully rescued by the city⁣ fire department.
