Real Madrid and Arsenal pursue Dalot in €150m competition

Real Madrid may‍ turn their attention to Manchester⁢ United full-back Diogo​ Dalot if they fail to secure the⁤ signing of Trent ‍Alexander-Arnold from Liverpool. Alexander-Arnold ‍is reportedly leaning towards staying at Liverpool beyond his current contract,‌ which expires‍ in 2025. Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester⁢ United, has requested that ⁢the club ​pursue RB Leipzig​ striker Benjamin Sesko ‌in ‌an effort to address their scoring issues. Barcelona, on the other hand, is ‌not believed ⁤to ‌be working on‌ a deal for Aston Villa striker Jhon Duran despite reports ‌suggesting otherwise.

Liverpool ⁤is said to be targeting‌ Sporting CP striker Viktor Gyokeres and Athletic Club winger Nico Williams due to uncertainty surrounding⁢ Mohamed Salah’s future. Newcastle United’s Anthony Gordon and Aston Villa’s Ollie Watkins are also on Liverpool’s radar. Contract talks‍ between Newcastle ​and Gordon have stalled⁣ since news broke ⁤about a potential move to Liverpool ⁢falling through over the summer.

Barcelona is among the ‍frontrunners to sign ​Jamal Musiala if he decides to ​leave Bayern Munich, as he would be interested in reuniting with former manager Hansi Flick.​ Arsenal has joined Real Madrid ⁤in pursuing‍ Bayer Leverkusen sensation Florian Wirtz but will have to meet a €150m fee ‌set by the German club.

Chelsea dropped their interest in AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan after learning‍ of Milan’s ⁣asking price exceeding £65m. Mykhailo Mudryk may attempt to force ‌an exit from Chelsea in order to revive his⁣ career.

Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi has become Manchester City’s top target as ⁢a replacement for injured Rodri. Other players on City’s radar include ‍Bruno Guimaraes from ⁢Newcastle United,‍ Adam Wharton⁢ from​ Crystal‍ Palace, Mats Wieffer from Brighton​ & Hove Albion, and Samuele Ricci from Torino.
