Friday, October 11 Spangram Hints and Answers in Today’s NYT ‘Strands

Today’s‌ NYT Strands hints and answers are available for Thursday, October 10. The New York Times’ ‍Strands puzzle is a word search game‌ that can be found in the NYT Games app. Each day, players are presented with a six by eight grid of letters and must find ‍a⁤ group of words that have something in common. A⁢ clue is provided to hint at the theme of the words.⁤ When a theme word is found,⁢ it remains highlighted⁣ in blue.

In addition to finding theme words, players ⁢must also locate a special word called a spangram. The ‍spangram links at least ⁣two sides⁤ of the board but ⁢may not start or end there. While theme words cannot ⁢be ⁣proper names, the spangram can be one. Once found, the spangram remains highlighted in yellow.

To play‍ Strands, players connect letters vertically, horizontally, and ‌diagonally while⁢ using each letter⁢ once in one of the‍ theme words or spangram. ⁢On touchscreen devices, ‍double ⁣tapping‌ the last letter submits your guess.

If three valid⁢ words of at ⁢least four‌ letters are found that are not part of the ⁢theme, players⁣ unlock the Hint button which highlights‌ letters that make up ⁣one of the⁢ theme words.

The difficulty level varies from ⁤day to day⁣ and may involve filling missing ‍words in‌ phrases⁣ or focusing on‍ synonyms or homophones.

For⁣ today’s puzzle, there are six theme words to find‌ including CHEMISTRY LAB as⁤ the spangram. The ‌other five theme words are PIPETTE, THERMOMETER, BEAKER FLASK GOGGLES.

Overall this puzzle was not too ⁣challenging as BEAKER was quickly spotted which helped solve everything ⁣else. GOGGLES followed before finding CHEMISTRY ⁣LAB as the spangram.
