Eintracht Frankfurt director Markus Krosche has not ruled out the possibility of top scorer Omar Marmoush leaving the club, as his impressive performances have attracted interest from Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United.
Marmoush, 25, scored an impressive 12 goals in the Bundesliga last season and has already netted eight goals in just six games this season. This outstanding form has made him the leading goal scorer in the league.
Unsurprisingly, Marmoush’s performances have caught the attention of top Premier League clubs. Arsenal and Liverpool have been linked with him for some time due to his international teammate Mohamed Salah. Recent reports have also added Manchester United to the list of potential suitors.
While Eintracht Frankfurt is reluctant to let go of Marmoush, Krosche admitted that if his exceptional form continues, they may be powerless to prevent him from leaving.
Krosche stated during a press conference: “It is true that Omar made a very clear commitment to us in the summer. He has developed well and still has a lot of potential to develop further. For us, we don’t want to lose so many key players. I have to honestly say that no Eintracht player is unsellable but we want to keep the team together.”
Marmoush had rejected offers from England over the summer when Nottingham Forest made three unsuccessful attempts to sign him. However, previous reports suggest that he dreams of playing in the Premier League and will consider any offers from top clubs in the coming months.
The future remains uncertain for Marmoush as clubs continue monitoring his progress closely.
