Free Concert by Japanese Singer Masaharu Fukuyama Delights Nagasaki

Singer Masaharu ​Fukuyama, a Nagasaki native, held a free⁢ concert at the newly opened Nagasaki Stadium City on Sunday. The concert was in ‍celebration of the grand ⁢opening⁢ of the facility on Monday. Approximately 25,000 people were in ⁣attendance at the concert, selected through a lottery from over 530,000 applicants.

During the concert, Fukuyama greeted the audience by saying, “I’ve ⁤come back to Nagasaki,” and kicked off the show with his popular song “Hello.” As part of the festivities, organizers released ⁤colorful balloons into the air. After performing his songs, Fukuyama⁣ took a⁣ moment to reflect on the event and expressed his feelings about it. He said, “I can say ‍Nagasaki⁤ was reborn. It feels like a new life has begun.”
