The Macabre Spirits Tequila has been created by actor and scream king Matthew Lillard’s Find Familiar Spirits company, in collaboration with Blue Run Spirits Co-Founder Tim Sparapani and screenwriter Justin Ware. This small-batch reposado tequila hails from Jalisco and offers a unique blend of flavors. On the nose, it presents cooked agave, caramelized sugars, caramel, smoke, and white pepper. The palate reveals notes of agave, minerality, black pepper, and burnt sugar. The spirit will be presented in a bespoke box along with an original book titled Rare, Fine & Limited. This book is written by Mike Flanagan and features cover art designed by oil painter Mia Bergeron.
Lillard himself expressed his thoughts on the Macabre Spirits Tequila stating that as horror fans they are an eclectic tribe who share a passion for stories that come from the depths of their imaginations. He believes that Macabre Spirits brings together two of his favorite things: wicked horror stories and delicious tequila.
