Police in Toyonaka, Osaka Prefecture, have arrested three youths aged between 16 and 19 on suspicion of attempted murder. The incident occurred when the suspects assaulted a man in a park in Toyonaka, Osaka on Sunday.
According to reports from NTV, the victim was discovered naked from the waist down and bleeding from a head injury at approximately 10:30 p.m. on Sunday. He was immediately rushed to the hospital in an unconscious state. Fortunately, his condition improved by Monday and he is now out of danger.
The victim has been identified as a 22-year-old man from Kyoto City. Street surveillance camera footage revealed that he had met with the three suspects earlier that night at a location known as “Gurishita” (located beneath the big Glico sign) in Minami, Osaka.
Additional surveillance camera footage captured at the park depicted several young men and women repeatedly punching and kicking the victim’s head.
In order to gather more information about this incident and identify any other individuals involved, police are currently interrogating the three arrested suspects. They aim to determine what led to this violent altercation between them and their victim.
