Police and relatives seek assistance 20 years after mother and 3 children were killed

Police and​ relatives are seeking⁤ the public’s help in solving​ a 20-year-old murder case in Toyoake City, Aichi​ Prefecture. Toshiyo Kato, 38, and ⁣her three children – Yuki, 15, Rina, 13, ⁤and Shogo, 9 – were killed by an unknown attacker who also set their house ⁤on fire⁣ on September 9th, 2004. In an‍ effort⁤ to gather new information about ‌the case, approximately ‍40‌ family members, friends, and police officers ​gathered at a nearby shopping center for an appeal event. Toshiyo’s sister Amami expressed her desire for more people to be aware of the incident and ‍urged anyone with ⁤even​ the slightest piece of information to come forward.
