While Sánchez is often associated with her high-profile relationship as the fiancé of billionaire Jeff Bezos, she wants to be recognized for more than just that. She believes that women can wear many hats and should not be confined to a single role.
Sánchez’s book was inspired by a real-life experience she had eight years ago while flying a plane with her children. In addition to being a pilot and author, Sánchez is also passionate about environmental issues. As the vice chair of the Bezos Earth Fund, she actively fights against climate change.
