When asked if he would consider working with Lohan again, Quaid responded positively, stating, “I would.” He further added that he would love to do it but questioned the possibility of a “Parent Trap 2” without Richardson, saying, “Who wants to touch that? Natasha’s not here.”
Natasha Richardson played Lohan’s mother and Quaid’s ex-wife Elizabeth in the original film. The story revolved around twin girls played by Lohan who try to reunite their parents. Unfortunately, Richardson passed away in 2009 due to a skiing accident.
Quaid’s remarks were made during a career retrospective interview with “Entertainment Tonight.” In this interview, Quaid reflected on various interviews he had done with the entertainment program throughout his career.
