Adele Plans Extended Break from Music Following Las Vegas Residency

Adele has announced that she will be taking a break from music for an extended period of time after her Las Vegas residency concludes later this year. The singer made the announcement during a show in Munich, Germany, on August 31st, informing her fans that they won’t be hearing from her for quite some time following her “Weekends With Adele” shows at Caesar’s Palace in Las Vegas.

In footage shared on social media, the 36-year-old artist expressed her gratitude for the past three years of performing and stated that she will cherish those memories during her upcoming hiatus. She emphasized that this break will likely be the longest one she takes in her career.

Adele explained that she needs to step away from performing to focus on her “new life,” without specifying further details. She expressed appreciation for the experiences and shows she has had over the past three years but acknowledged the need for rest.

The singer’s final shows are scheduled to take place at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace from October 25th to November 23rd. This announcement comes less than a month after Adele revealed her engagement to sports agent Rich Paul during another concert in Munich. The couple began dating last year.

Previously, Adele was married to Simon Konecki, co-founder of Life Water, and they have a child together who was born in 2012. They finalized their divorce in 2019.

As fans eagerly await Adele’s return to music after this hiatus, it remains uncertain when exactly they can expect new material from the acclaimed British singer-songwriter.
