Arizona DNC Campaign Office Targeted by Gunfire for Third Time

Police in Tempe, Arizona, are asking ‌for the public’s assistance⁤ in locating ‍the individuals ⁣responsible for shooting ⁢at a Democratic National Committee⁣ (DNC) campaign⁤ building multiple times. According to a statement from‍ Tempe police,‌ the DNC building has been⁤ targeted three ‌times‌ since September⁤ 16 with what appears to be gunfire. The ‌first incident‌ occurred on September‍ 16 at 12:09 a.m., followed by ⁤another shooting on⁤ September 23 at 12:35 a.m. The⁣ most recent incident‌ took place on October 6 at 12:21 a.m. Fortunately, no one was inside the building during any of these‌ incidents and there have been no reported injuries.

The motive behind these shootings remains unknown, as police have not provided any information ‍regarding possible reasons for the attacks. However, they did release ‍CCTV footage of a ⁢vehicle ‌believed to belong to the suspect involved in the shootings. The vehicle is described as ⁢a silver Toyota Highlander manufactured between 2008⁤ and ⁤2013, featuring a sunroof, ‍roof rack, and five-spoke rims.

It is worth ⁣noting that⁤ this campaign office⁤ in Tempe is ‌one‍ of Vice President Kamala Harris’s field offices in Arizona. Harris herself is scheduled to host a campaign rally ⁤in Phoenix on October 10 while early voting is⁢ underway.

These incidents come amidst an election season marked by political violence across the country.⁤ Former President Donald Trump has also faced ⁤two assassination⁤ attempts during his campaign events earlier this year.

In addition ⁣to these⁤ shootings, suspicious packages have been delivered to election officials in ‍several ‍states recently without causing ⁢any injuries or containing hazardous materials. As concerns over ‍such threats⁤ grow, ⁢Congress unanimously passed legislation‍ last ⁣week requiring increased security measures for major presidential candidates.

Tempe police‌ are urging anyone with information about these shooting incidents to contact Silent Witness⁣ or leave anonymous tips online through their website. A reward‍ of $1,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest or indictment related to these cases.
