Cleveland is working with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department to locate Williams and conduct a thorough search in the area where he was last seen.
According to police, Williams was last seen driving near Congaree State Park on October 3. The department received a call from a family member on October 4, stating that they had not heard from Williams since the previous day. This behavior is out of character for him, and it is important to note that he requires prescribed medication.
Williams’s vehicle was later found by a deputy in Congaree National Park’s Palmetto Trail parking lot on October 4 at around 11 p.m. Authorities are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to contact the Richland County Sheriff’s Department or Crime Stoppers.
Family members have expressed their distress over this ordeal but remain hopeful for Zelig’s safe return. Friends and colleagues from Broadway have taken to social media platforms, such as Instagram and Twitter, pleading for any information that could help locate him.
