“Chad Powers” was inspired by Eli Manning’s 2022 ESPN+ docuseries, “Eli’s Places.” In that series, Manning participated in Penn State‘s walk-on football tryouts disguised as Chad Powers. The show is created by Glen Powell and Michael Waldron.
