Janelle Brown, from ‘Sister Wives,’ decides fate of house where son Garrison passed away

Janelle Brown, star of the ⁢reality show “Sister Wives,” has lowered the price of her late son Garrison’s Flagstaff, Arizona home by $26,000. The four-bedroom, two-bathroom property was initially ‍listed for $425,000 in September but has‌ now been reduced to $399,000 within 30 days. As per Arizona’s intestate succession law, since Garrison had no spouse or children, the property will go to his deceased parents.

The townhome boasts fresh paint and vinyl⁣ floors. The⁣ lower level features a living room with a ⁢gas fireplace, kitchen, ⁤pantry, laundry area‍ with washer and dryer facilities,⁢ and an office/den with a 3/4 bath.‌ Upstairs are four bedrooms and a full bathroom. ‌Additionally, there⁢ is a small fenced courtyard and backyard.

Garrison purchased the house in ‌December 2021 for $329,000. Tragically, it was where his ⁤body was discovered on⁤ March ‍25. His brother Gabriel Brown found him with a self-inflicted gunshot wound confirmed ‍by the Coconino County Medical Examiner autopsy obtained by People magazine as death by suicide.

The residence appeared in several episodes of “Sister Wives.” In September this year—six months after Garrison’s passing—Janelle Brown posted on Instagram expressing her ongoing grief and love for her son.

Garrison’s father Kody also spoke to People about regretting not spending more time ⁤with ‍him: “I want to go out ‍to‌ dinner again…‌ I want [Garrison] to try ⁢and make me laugh because he was that way.”

Season 19 of “Sister Wives” premiered on September 15 but included⁣ references to Garrison’s death at the beginning of filming in⁢ late 2022.

The‌ series plans to address ‍what happened ‌and its aftermath at some point. If you or someone you know is struggling with suicidal thoughts or immediate danger is present,
please contact the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline‌ at 988 or call emergency services at 911.
