Palestinian Islamic Jihad Member Confesses to Role in Raping Israeli Women

A captured Palestinian Islamic Jihad terrorist has confessed to the rape of Israeli women during the Hamas terrorist attacks on October 7th. The captured terrorist acknowledged that members of his team committed rape and then proceeded to murder the victims during the massacre. Evidence of the use of rape as a tool of war by Hamas terrorists has been gathered by Lahav 433, Israel’s top national police unit. One survivor of the massacre testified that she witnessed another woman being raped in front of her before being shot.

A recent report by The New York Times, following a two-month-long investigation, revealed the extent of the sexual violence and brutality faced by Israeli women at the hands of Hamas terrorists during the attacks on October 7th. The report was based on interviews with 150 individuals, including witnesses, medical personnel, soldiers, and rape counselors. It detailed the widespread abuse of women at various locations targeted by Hamas terrorists.

Veteran journalist Caroline Glick highlighted that Iran, Hamas, and Hezbollah were plotting to destroy Israel completely at the start of the October 7th attack. However, the desire to rape civilians seemed to outweigh any strategic plans, according to Glick. She revealed that the original plan was to capture hundreds, if not thousands, of hostages in Lebanon and Gaza, but the tantalizing prospect of mass rape and murder of young Israeli women at the Supernova music festival on the border led Hamas to jump the gun.

Despite the overwhelming evidence of the abuse of women by Hamas terrorists, it took nearly two months for the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women, known as UN Women, to finally criticize Hamas for its rape and murder spree. While the UN has issued statements condemning the Hamas terrorist attack on civilians, UN Women initially stayed silent on addressing the reports of gender-based violence perpetrated by Hamas.

It is clear that the use of rape as a weapon of war by Hamas during the October 7th attacks has had a devastating impact on Israeli women. The brutalization and abuse of women by Hamas terrorists cannot go unrecognized, and it is imperative that those responsible are held accountable for their heinous actions. The survivors of these horrific ordeals deserve justice and support, and the international community must stand in solidarity with them to condemn such despicable acts of violence.
