Suspicious Package Discovered Near U.S. Capitol Amid Reports of Inappropriate Activity in Senate Office Building

Is this a deliberate distraction tactic?

Reports have emerged of a “suspicious package” being investigated by Capitol police near the U.S. Capitol building, following a day of scandalous behavior within Congress.

According to The Gateway Pundit, a young male staffer for Maryland Senator Ben Cardin was involved in and filmed graphic sex acts with his older boyfriend in the Hart Senate Office Building. The staffer has since been fired, but Cardin’s office has not provided a reason for his dismissal.

Conservative activist Greg Price first broke the story, which was followed shortly by the news of the suspicious package near the Capitol.

Even more damaging for the Democrats, the fired staffer had appeared in an ad for Joe Biden’s 2020 presidential campaign. It seems that the Democrats and their media allies are hoping to divert attention away from this scandal.

The timing of the suspicious package near the Capitol, following the scandal involving the Democratic staffer, has raised suspicions about the convenient distraction from the ongoing controversy.

Fox 5 D.C. reported that Capitol Police are currently investigating the suspicious package near the East Front Plaza of the U.S. Capitol Building. Staff and personnel are advised to avoid the area, and the investigation is ongoing.

This comes as a peculiar coincidence, raising questions about whether it is a deliberate attempt to shift focus away from the recent scandal involving a Democratic staffer.

There are parallels drawn to the alleged pipe bomber incident on January 6, with questions raised about the effectiveness of the FBI’s investigation. The unresolved nature of that incident adds to the suspicions surrounding the latest developments.

The Gateway Pundit will continue to provide updates on this story as more information becomes available.
