Musk confirms Trump-Rogan Podcast is set to occur

Billionaire tech entrepreneur Elon Musk has sparked speculation by ⁤suggesting‍ that an interview between celebrity podcaster Joe Rogan and ⁣2024 presidential candidate Donald Trump “will happen” just ‍weeks before Election Day. The anticipation for a Trump-Rogan interview gained momentum after financial blog and⁤ news aggregator ZeroHedge posted⁣ an ‌article calling on Rogan to invite Trump onto “The Joe Rogan Experience.” Musk⁣ responded to⁤ the article, stating simply, “It ‍will⁢ happen.” While Musk does not have decision-making power over Rogan’s ⁢podcast, Rogan’s official X ⁤social media profile ‌added‍ to the speculation by sharing an article referencing ‌Musk’s comment. The X profile for the‌ Joe Rogan podcast also broached the ‍subject of an interview with Trump. This wouldn’t be the first time that Rogan⁢ has hosted a political‍ figure on his‌ show. He interviewed Sen. Bernie ‍Sanders during Sanders’ run ⁤for ⁣the 2020 Democratic ⁣presidential nomination and invited Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who ⁣was ⁣running as an independent candidate at the ‌time, onto his podcast in June.‍ Trump himself has appeared on various podcasts ‍that aren’t⁣ typically focused on politics, including “Full Send,” “Impaulsive,” “This Past Weekend,” and “Flagrant.” During a recent episode of his‍ podcast,‍ Rogan expressed interest in interviewing Trump and asked⁣ what would happen if he were elected again. However, neither Rogan nor ⁢his podcast have announced any specific ‍plans ⁤to⁤ interview Trump at this time. Both ‍major ‍party candidates have‍ been using podcasts as a new way to connect with voters‌ during this ⁢election‍ cycle. Vice President Kamala Harris⁣ has already appeared on several podcasts such ⁣as “All the Smoke” and “Call Her Daddy,” with more appearances scheduled in the future.
