In Tokyo’s Shibuya Ward, people are captivated by the mesmerizing sight of the harvest moon illuminating the night sky. This year, the harvest moon falls in the middle of autumn according to the old lunar calendar. The National Astronomical Observatory of Japan reveals that unlike previous years, this year’s harvest moon does not coincide with the full moon, which is expected to grace us with its presence on Wednesday.
