The 2024 Presidents Cup is set to begin tomorrow at Royal Montreal in Quebec, Canada. Friday and Saturday will feature foursomes play, and Sunday will conclude with 12 traditional singles matches. On Wednesday afternoon, team captains Jim Furyk and Mike Weir announced their pairings for Thursday’s four-ball matches.
The American team has been dominant in the Presidents Cup, winning nine consecutive tournaments since 2003. They have won a total of 12 out of the 14 Presidents Cups played so far, only tying once in 2003 and losing once in 1998.
This year’s U.S. team is stacked with top talent including Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, and Scottie Scheffler. However, the international team also boasts stars like Jason Day, Hideki Matsuyama, and Adam Scott.
