A train on the Isumi Railway in Isumi, Chiba Prefecture derailed and came to an emergency stop on Friday, according to the railway company. Approximately 100 passengers were transported by replacement buses. The incident occurred at around 8:10 a.m. when the train driver reported hearing an unusual noise and subsequently made an emergency stop between Kuniyoshi and Kazusanakagawa stations. In response to the situation, the company suspended operations on both lines.
