Trump Promises to Restore California’s Lost Paradise at Rally

Around 50,000 people attended a rally held by former President Donald Trump ⁢in Coachella, California on October 12. Trump promised to provide more water for irrigation to farmers in the state if he is reelected. He also made several other promises, including making ⁣interest on new ⁤car loans tax-deductible, curbing inflation, strengthening the ‌economy through fracking,⁢ and imposing ⁢tougher trade⁣ tariffs on Mexico and China. Trump criticized the current state of California, citing high inflation, ⁤gas prices, cost of living, expensive utilities ⁢and regulations, homelessness, crime rates, illegal immigration as well as overall decay. He expressed his determination to bring back California’s former glory.

During the rally in Coachella Mayor Steven Hernandez criticized Trump’s visit and stated that he was not invited by the people who live there. Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco revealed ⁣that a man was arrested prior to Trump’s arrival for possession⁤ of a loaded firearm and possession of a high-capacity‌ magazine. The sheriff ​believes his deputies thwarted an ⁢assassination attempt but declined⁤ to comment further on the suspect’s alleged statements regarding Trump.

Trump ⁤supporters at the rally expressed their concerns about border‌ security and lowering ⁢costs for Americans. ⁣They emphasized the need to prioritize​ American-made products over imports from China. Lapson Luu from ⁢Vietnamese Americans for America organization supported America First policies and legal immigration while opposing illegal immigration.

Actor Dennis Quaid also spoke at​ the rally urging Americans to support⁤ Trump.‍ Following this event in⁣ Coachella Valley Arena in ‌Arizona was scheduled where it would‍ be his fourth trip this year.

Meanwhile Vice President Kamala Harris campaigned in​ North Carolina over the weekend supporting hurricane relief efforts and ⁤discussing her economic plans.
