Typhoon Bebinca Nearing Japan’s Amami-Oshima Island

Typhoon⁣ Bebinca, also known as Typhoon No. 13 in Japan, is currently heading towards Amami-Oshima Island​ in Kagoshima Prefecture. According to the Japan ⁣Meteorological Agency, as of Saturday afternoon, the typhoon‍ was located approximately 130 kilometers south-southeast of the island. It is moving ​at a speed of 30 kilometers per hour in a northwest direction.

The agency reported that the pressure at the center of Typhoon Bebinca is measured at 985 hectopascals. Additionally, the maximum wind speed near its center has‌ been​ recorded at 25 meters per second or approximately 90 kilometers per⁤ hour.
