A tropical cyclone has developed into Typhoon Cimarron, as confirmed by the Japan Meteorological Agency. This typhoon, also known as Typhoon 16 in Japan, is currently moving in a west-northwest direction towards Kyushu and Shikoku areas of Japan. The central pressure of the typhoon measures at 1,002 hectopascals. The meteorological agency has issued a warning to vessels navigating near the typhoon to be cautious.
