Typhoon Jebi, also referred to as Typhoon No. 17, is predicted to approach the Kanto region, which includes Tokyo, on Tuesday morning. This information comes from the Japan Meteorological Agency (JMA). As of 9 a.m. Saturday, the JMA reported that the typhoon was situated near the Mariana Islands. The central pressure of Typhoon Jebi measured at 1,000 hectopascals and its maximum instantaneous wind speed reached 30 meters per second or 108 kilometers per hour. The typhoon was moving in a northwest direction with a speed of 15 kilometers per hour.
