Typhoon Pulasan Expected to Reach Okinawa Island, Japan on Wednesday Night

Typhoon Pulasan, also referred to as typhoon⁣ No. 14, is currently heading towards Okinawa Island and is expected to reach the island tonight, according to the Japan Meteorological​ Agency. As of midday today, Typhoon Pulasan was moving in a northwest⁤ direction ‍at a⁤ speed of 30 kilometers per hour. The central pressure of the typhoon measured 992 hectopascals, with maximum instantaneous wind speeds​ reaching 35 meters per second. It is predicted that Typhoon Pulasan will continue its⁣ westward trajectory over the East ⁤China Sea.
