Adam Driver’s Fun Holiday Monologue: Sharing Christmas Wishes with Santa on Saturday Night Live — Watch Now!

Adam Driver took the stage at Saturday Night Live over the weekend for his fourth hosting gig, and he brought the fun with a musical, holiday-themed monologue.

Expressing his excitement to be back, Driver shared, “I love Christmas. It’s my favorite holiday. The food, the music, the family. But largely, it’s because I have a very deep and personal relationship with Santa.”

Known for his free-form, charismatically laid-back SNL monologues, Driver took the opportunity to make his Christmas list known to Santa, while addressing the audience and the jolly man in red directly.

Seated at a grand piano, Driver made his tongue-in-cheek requests to Santa, including five pairs of chinos and a giant metal Tesla truck to “pair perfectly with my teeny tiny micro penis.”

He also made a humorous plea for people to stop approaching him on the street and saying, “You killed Han Solo,” and expressed his disdain for couples who do pranks on TikTok.

As the list continued, Driver got even goofier, asking Santa if a gingerbread man gets scared when he realizes the house is made of his own skin, and revealing his love for eggnog. He concluded his monologue by thanking Santa and expressing his anticipation for Santa’s breaking into his house.

Driver hosted the show one week after Emma Stone’s fifth time hosting, where she was inducted into the Five-Timers’ Club. The actor was joined by musical guest Olivia Rodrigo.

Saturday Night Live airs live, coast-to-coast, at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m. PT on NBC.

In a statement, Executive Vice President of NBC Entertainment Lisa Katz expressed her excitement over Driver’s return to the SNL stage, saying, “Adam Driver is a phenomenal talent and the perfect choice for our holiday episode.”

The show’s creator, Lorne Michaels, stated, “We’re thrilled to have Adam Driver back and we can’t wait to see what holiday shenanigans he and the cast have in store.”

If Driver’s previous appearances are any indication, audiences should be in for a treat when the episode airs.

The announcement comes after a particularly eventful year for SNL, including notable sketches and performances from this season’s hosts and musical guests.

But as the year comes to a close, fans can look forward to one more festive and hilarious episode with Adam Driver at the helm, counting down the days until a sleigh led by reindeer lands on his roof.
