Cresta founders support Trove’s AI in bringing enjoyment back to surveys

Silicon Valley Software Engineers Invent New AI-Powered Survey Platform

Dinghan Shen and Yuan Xue, two Silicon Valley software engineers, have created a revolutionary survey platform that aims to make surveys more empathetic and engaging. The platform, called Trove AI, leverages the breakthroughs brought by large language models to create conversational surveys. Backed by Zayd Enam and Tim Shi, co-founders of Cresta, Trove AI has already received substantial pre-seed funding.

Launched six weeks ago, Trove AI has already attracted over 1,000 users, primarily small and medium-sized businesses from around the world. The platform remains free to use, and its diverse user base includes a London-based spa, a K-12 school in Boston, and a travel agency focused on Latin America.

In a world dominated by ChatGPT frenzy, Trove AI seeks to differentiate itself by becoming a “customer and employee experience management platform.” The product aims to provide a comprehensive experience management solution for companies of all sizes, focusing on customers, employees, and products.

While Trove AI heavily relies on AI, Shen emphasized that it is 80% SaaS and 20% AI. The platform offers a wide range of features powered by OpenAI, including survey creation, response, analytics, ticket creation, and CRM integration. CRM integration, in particular, allows Trove AI to create highly customized surveys and automate ticket creation and personalized follow-up emails.

In an interview with TechCrunch, Shen stated, “Fundamentally, we’re rethinking the experience management workflows from scratch in the context of the powerful large language model capabilities today.”

The introduction of Trove AI has the potential to disrupt the survey market, which is currently dominated by enterprise-focused survey giant Qualtrics and SurveyMonkey. Trove AI’s unique approach to survey creation and management, powered by AI, has the potential to revolutionize the industry and provide companies with a more engaging and empathetic way to gather feedback.

Overall, Trove AI’s innovative use of AI in surveys has the potential to change the way businesses gather and utilize feedback, making the process more efficient and effective. As the platform continues to grow and develop, it is expected to become a game-changer in the world of survey technology.
