In a shocking and grisly incident, a doctor from Sapporo and his daughter have been apprehended by local police on suspicion of beheading a man in a city hotel. The victim, identified as 62-year-old Hitoshi Ura, was found naked and headless in the bathroom of a hotel room on July 2. The suspects, Osamu Tamura, 59, and his daughter Runa, 29, were taken into custody on Monday.
The police are currently investigating the motive behind this gruesome crime and trying to establish the nature of the relationship between the Tamura family and the victim, Hitoshi Ura. While it is believed that Runa Tamura and Ura were acquainted, the police have not yet revealed whether the suspects have admitted to the allegations.
According to the results of the victim’s autopsy, the cause of death was determined to be hemorrhagic shock resulting from stab wounds, while Ura’s head was severed using a blade, which was then taken from the scene.
Before the incident took place, Ura and another individual checked into the hotel in Sapporo at approximately 10:50 p.m. on July 1. The accompanying person was described as small, wearing light-colored women’s clothing, and a wide-brimmed hat upon entering the room. However, when leaving, the person was dressed in black, as per the information provided by investigative sources.
On July 2, a hotel worker, growing suspicious when Ura failed to check out by the afternoon, went to check the room and tragically discovered Ura’s lifeless body.
The incident unfolded in the Susukino area of the city, which is known for housing numerous short-stay establishments commonly referred to as “love hotels.”
As the investigation continues, authorities are working diligently to gather evidence and uncover the circumstances that led to this shocking crime. The suspects will face the full force of the law, and justice will be sought for the victim, Hitoshi Ura.
