Illegal Alien Arrested for Murder of 16-Year-Old Texas High School Cheerleader

In a tragic turn of events, a beautiful 16-year-old Texas high school cheerleader, Lizabeth Medina, was found murdered in her own home. The discovery was made by her devastated mother, Jacqueline, who became worried when her daughter failed to show up for the Lighted Christmas Parade with her cheerleading team.

The suspect in custody is Rafael Govea Romero, an illegal alien who was arrested in Schulenburg, Texas, located approximately 75 miles from Edna. The details surrounding Romero’s entry into the United States remain unclear, leaving many questions unanswered.

In a press release, the Edna Police Department stated, “With countless hours put into this investigation, we were able to locate an undocumented male subject, identified as RAFAEL GOVEA ROMERO in the city of Schulenburg. Edna Police Department and Texas Rangers immediately traveled to Schulenburg where Romero was placed under arrest for Capital Murder and transported to the Jackson County Jail.”
