Microsoft Hires Former OpenAI CEO Sam Altman After His Sudden Dismissal

Former OpenAI CEO Sam Altman is joining Microsoft following his sudden dismissal from the artificial intelligence tech company last week.
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella made the announcement on the company’s blog on Nov. 19. Greg Brockman, OpenAI’s co-founder and president who resigned after Mr. Altman’s dismissal, is also set to join Microsoft.
“We’re extremely excited to share the news that Sam Altman and Greg Brockman, together with colleagues, will be joining Microsoft to lead a new advanced AI research team,” Mr. Nadella stated.
“We look forward to moving quickly to provide them with the resources needed for their success,” he added….
