Muslim Youths Physically Attack Santa Claus in Germany, Rip His Costume

Santa Claus Attacked by Muslim Youths in Germany
Ranier B., a 54-year-old man who has been portraying Santa Claus in Kassel, Germany for several years, found himself under attack by a group of Muslim youths this year. The assailants physically assaulted him and tore his Santa suit, forcing him to flee for safety. The perpetrators shouted that it was “their country” and hurled insults at him during the attack.

This incident is not an isolated one in Kassel, with previous assaults on German Christmas and holiday celebrations by Muslim individuals. In 2017, Muslims set fire to Germany’s oldest church on New Year’s Eve. In 2018, a hatchet-wielding jihadist, shouting “allahu akbar,” was apprehended at a Christmas market. In 2019, eight Arabs attacked a Christmas Eve party at St. Nicolai’s church in Chemnitz. Furthermore, in 2016, a Pakistani refugee caused the death of at least 12 people by driving a truck through the Berlin Christmas market.

According to Remix News, German law enforcement is currently searching for a group of youths who are suspected of physically assaulting Rainer B. as he was heading to perform at an event in Hesse. The victim was supposed to appear at the Königsalm in the city of Kassel on December 6 when a group of teenagers of migrant background, around 15 years old, confronted him. They insulted him, called him derogatory names, and demanded that he remove his Santa Claus costume. The attackers, claiming to be Muslim and asserting ownership of Germany, became violent when the victim refused their demands, causing injuries and damage to his costume. Despite the attack being witnessed by several people, no one intervened, with some even applauding the attackers.

This disturbing incident highlights the need for deeper cultural understanding and integration in Germany. The actions of the perpetrators not only caused physical harm but also instilled fear and unease in the community. The assault on a symbol of holiday cheer serves as a reminder of the importance of tolerance and respect for diverse traditions and beliefs. It is essential for authorities and communities to address the underlying issues that lead to such acts of violence and work towards fostering a more inclusive and harmonious society for all residents.
