Far-Left Radio Host Charlamagne Tha God Calls for Joe Biden to ‘Step Aside’ in Video Interview

A recent podcast found far-left black radio host Charlamagne tha God imploring Joe Biden to step down from his role as president, citing Biden’s slipping support in crucial battleground states as the 2024 election looms. The New York Times and Siena College conducted polls revealing that Biden is trailing behind Trump in five out of six key battleground states, attributing this trend to factors such as persistent inflation, high gas prices, and the ongoing border crisis.

According to the New York Times poll, Trump holds a ten-point lead in Nevada, a six-point lead in Georgia, a five-point lead in Arizona and Michigan, and a four-point lead in Pennsylvania. Only in Wisconsin does Biden maintain a slim two-point lead. Shifting support among black voters has been identified as a contributing factor to Trump’s lead in these crucial states, signaling potential challenges for Biden’s re-election campaign.

Amidst Biden’s declining support, calls for him to step down have begun to surface within the Democratic Party. This sentiment is fueled by concerns about Biden’s age and his lack of popularity among younger Democratic voters. Charlamagne tha God, for instance, publicly urged Biden to retire, stating, “Please, Mr. President, give America the ultimate Christmas gift and step aside.”

During the 2020 presidential election, Biden faced backlash for telling Charlamagne tha God that black Americans “ain’t black” if they don’t vote for him. This statement resurfaces in light of Charlamagne tha God’s recent plea for Biden to resign, highlighting the longstanding tensions within the Democratic Party regarding Biden’s standing.
