Mariah Carey Takes Her Twins to the White House to Spread Christmas Cheer

The Queen of Christmas, Mariah Carey, brought holiday cheer to the White House as she met with President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris along with her 12-year-old twins Monroe and Moroccan, whom she shares with ex-husband Nick Cannon.

Carey shared a carousel of images from the day on Instagram, in which she and her children are seen chatting with the president inside the Oval Office. She looked stunning in a glittery black mini-dress and jacket with pink platform heels, while Monroe and Moroccan also dressed to impress for the special occasion.

The photos also included posed shots with Biden and with Harris and her husband, Douglas Emhoff. Carey and her kids also enjoyed the festive White House Christmas tree, with Monroe and Moroccan even adding their own ornament to its branches. Notably missing from the shots was Carey’s longtime love, Bryan Tanaka, amid rumors of a breakup.

This visit to the White House comes after the conclusion of Carey’s Merry Christmas One and All Tour, during which she was joined by Ariana Grande and Jennifer Hudson for the first live performance of their holiday single, “Oh Santa!” in Madison Square Garden. Last month, Carey revealed to ET her special holiday plans for the year, which included spending it with her kids and some friends in Aspen, where even Santa would be making a visit.

As for her children’s Christmas list, Carey noted that their wishes were “technology-driven” and not necessarily cheap, but she enjoys making the holidays special for them. Overall, it was a joyful holiday season for Carey, who continues to be the reigning Queen of Christmas.
